Sanford TTC took three teams to Dauntsey's on Sunday to compete against teams from Dauntsey's, Warminster, Kennet Vale, Salisbury Malmesbury. there 5 teams in two Divisions.
Sanford A started with a win against Dauntsey's A 7-2 Shamon and winning there matches Charlie playing the A team for the first replacing Nitya who was not available but could be available on the 17th of March. Then it was a battle of the giants against Warminster going down 5-4 Shamon winning all of his matches, but Hayate losing to National team player Adam and also losing to Theo who is future star. Charlie fighting, but was up against the favourites to the league.
Next up was Kennet Vale winning 5-4 but the shock of day was Shamon losing to Felix Nagel 15-13 in the final set. Hayate beating Felix quite easier, but to Connor.
Sanford B and C both in Division 2 the star was Sami Oktar who is undefeated and looks good to top the averages.
Sanford B who had a tough game with Liam Kanyepi from the C team. B team defeating Dauntsey's 5-4 Salisbury 6-3 and defeating the Sanford C team Liam from the C team winning 2 of his games.
Overall it was a positive performance from the Sanford teams especially when the C team was a new team. The star was Liam only losing one match to Sami Oktar.
Sanford A were without their key player but put up a good performance with Hayate winning all of his matches. Charlie lost to Gefai of Salisbury 12/10 in the final set. The star of the day was Kougar who put in an excellent performance defeating Guanzhong from Salisbury 11/6 5/11 11/9. The overall performance of team was excellent and all the players supported each another.
Sanford A finished runners up in the division with 20 points. Congratulations
go to Warminster A winning the Division on 25 points .
Sanford B took on 2nd place Malmesbury who had 1 player short and Sanford loaned Jack Tupman which resulted in a thrilling match. Liam promoted to the B team after putting in a good performance in C team in Day 1. Sanford went 3-0 games up and Sami played Mareyam Smith who is a promising player. This game went to the wire . Mareyan winning 19/17 in the final set.But the Sanford team had more in the tank. Liam winning all of his matches. the team won 7/2
going on to win Division 2 with 24 points followed closely by Malmesbury with 22 points.
The Sanford C team had to play Salisbury Finlay and Sam Tupman winning all of their matches and Sienna also winning 2 of her's winning the match 8/1. They had to face Malmesbury Jack Tupman won 2 of his games and it was ironic that he had to play his brother Sam this went a decider. Sam Tupman

Sienna fought hard and showed her potential with Finlay going close in every match was not disgraced.
Overall performance of Sanford C was excellent and finished 4th in the division. The Club are proud of all players who played this in good spirit.
