SANFORD NATIONAL TEAM FINISHED IN STYLE

Sanford National Cadet team finished the final day off in style. Beating Banbury A 7-2 Evesham A 9-0 and BJJC 8-1 tremendous all round performance from the players finishing in the top three which is one of best results recorded for the Sanford National Team. What was so pleasing the determination of players and the support they gave one another and a special thank you for the support we had from the parents too. All I can say roll on Next Year. REPORT FROM WILTSHIRE JUNIOR FINAL DAY AT DAUNTSEY'S

Sanford A were without their key player but put up a good performance Hayate winning all of his matches Charlie lost to Gefai of Salisbury 12/10 in the final set. The star was Kougar who put a excellent performance defeating Guanzhong 11/6 5/11 11/9 overall performance of team was excellent and team supported one another. The team finished runners up. Our congratulation go to Warminster A winning the Division. Sanford B took on 2nd place Malmesbury who had 1 player short and Sanford loan Jack Tupman one their players to them which resulted in a thrilling match. Liam promoted to the B team after putting in a good performance in C team in Day 1. Sanford went 3-0 games up and Sami played Mareya

SANFORD JUNIORS GET EXCELLENT RESULTS AT THE FINAL DAY OF WILTSHIRE JUNIOR LEAGUE

SAINSBURYS LINK UP WITH SANFORD TTC ON RED NOSE DAY

Sanford Table Tennis Club linked up with Sainsbury's at their Stratton store, to promote Red Nose Day, and their Operations Manager Dave challenged Players from Sanford TTC for a game, also various employees joined in too. Representatives from Sanford were the Development Officer Lee Bowen and Thomas Penfold player. It was excellent morning and we also had the local News reporter and a photographer who took some of the action of the event which is to be published shortly. Not sure of the total amount raised for Red Nose day. It was good to get people from the Community playing the game. SANFORD TTC AND ROYAL WOOTTON BASSETT ACADEMY GET SCHOOL TT SESSION UNDERWAY

HANDICAP TOURNAMENT NOW CLOSED

The handicap Event scheduled at Swindon Academy for Friday the 15th March is now Closed we have a total of 32 entries. Draw take place on late Tuesday 12th of March and will be displayed on the day. Trophies will be presented on the night full report to follow on the website www.sanfordttc.co.uk. There will be a Consolations singles played i n a few weeks.

LAUNCHED DAY SET FOR NEW COACHING AT ROYAL WOOTTON BASSETT SCHOOL

Launch date has been set for Wednesday 13th of March at RWBS Swindon this new venture, after funding for new tables supplier by bribar was grant by Wiltshire and Swindon Sports. This will be the second satellite school linked to Sanford Link TTC, who are seeking other schools to get involved in this great game. WILTSHIRE SCHOOL GAMES TABLE TENNIS TOURNAMENT AT SWINDON ACADEMY

Swindon Academy are hosting the Wiltshire School games Table tennis Tournament on Thursday 9th of May for the third time running and the respond has been excellent we already have 5 schools entered. This has been excellent competition for schools to come together and compete for a place in the Final, scheduled in Marlborough later in the year. please come along and support this development event and see a lot pf good matches.

WILTSHIRE CLOSED CHAMPIONSHIP REPORT

Some of players who attended the the Wiltshire Championship on Sunday. from Left to right Sienna Minton Kougar Akiyama, Hayate Igami, Shamon Ishida. Shamon reaching the U18's semi-finals losing to Will Avery in a tight match which could of gone either way, but Will had that little more experiences. Hayate reaching Semi-finals in U15's but lost to Benji Maxwell in a closed match. Sienna winning her first match at the first attempt in the Championships. Kougar played exceptly well taking all players to a decided. Unfortunately there were a number of other players who wanted to play but due to registration and time factor they could not enter the event. But it was a positively excellent day and
