WILTSHIRE SCHOOL TABLE TENNIS GAMES COMING TO SWINDON ACADEMY FOR THIRD TIME.

Schools around Swindon come to Swindon Academy on Wednesday the 9th of May 2018 to compete for a place in final at Marlborough scheduled for July date to be confirmed. The last event back in 2017 saw Commonweal and Swindon Academy go through to the final. New schools competing this Year and the standard of play will be higher anything can happen. Come along and support this event which starts at 4.15 pm we anticipate some excellent Table Tennis. Keep posted for further details

WILTSHIRE JUNIOR LEAGUE SANFORD LINK SHOW THEIR STRENGTH

Sanford Link took 2 teams to Daunstey's on Sunday to compete against Clubs in the Wiltshire Junior league, and were unbeaten. defeating Warminster, Kennet Vale Daunstey's and Sanford A unfortunately only had 2 players Hayate Igami and Shamon Ishida playing for the first time were unbeaten until they came up against the B team and had to give away 3 games but both players were beaten by Nitya from the B team who showed her power. But overall Sanford Link dominated the day. Well done to all the players and the future looks good for Swindon and Wiltshire.There were excellent matches throughout the day. Well done everybody.

NITYA MAINTAINS HER 100% RECORD AT COUNTY LEVEL

Wiltshire Cadets entertained Bedfordshire A and B team at Maltravers School at Westbury on Sunday chalking up tremendous wins against the Bedfordshire A Team 7-3 B Team 9-1. Nitya Joshi continue to shine and maintains her 100% record at County level, beating a ranked 40 player. There is a lot more to come from this up coming Star watch this space.

BAT TESTING COMING TO SWINDON ACADEMY

Bat testing evening has now been confirmed at Swindon Academy at Swindon on Friday July 6th Players can try out various Blades, Rubbers of different combinations at their own leisure, and get 35/40% off originally prices through a top German supplier.

SANFORD LINK TAKE SILVER IN NATIONAL CADET LEAGUE

Sanford Link Cadets held favourites Evesham to a draw, and pick up runners up spot on the final Day at in the National Cadets League, held at Deer's Park school Cirencester Yesterday. This was tremendous effort and the star of the show was Hayate Igamai our upcoming Japanese star winning ALL of his matches on first appearance. News report to follow on tables, results. SWINDON ACADEMY TABLE TENNIS LEAGUE

Come along and register for above League by Thursday every week we are open during school holidays, All standards welcome. We using have five Groups and you get at least 3/4 games, also there is some practice tables available too. All for £3.50 - £4.50. Shower and changing facilities too.

FINAL DAY OF NATIONAL CADETS

Sanford Link Cadets go into the Final Day of National Cadets on Sunday the 8th of April at Deer's Park Cirencester. With the return of Marcus Wales, and Hayate playing for the first time in Final Day it looks a strong team. There will be a number of changes of players of other teams due to the Easter Holiday, but I am sure is going to be exciting finish the Div 2. More to follow of the final results, and tables.
